and just like that, our venice staging project is in the books! this garage went from a dumping ground to a crafty office hang out. we are in love with how cute the exterior looks with the finished interior. here's hoping our client gets some serious offers on her house! check out pictures of the finished product and let us know what you think. you can always shoot us an email if you'd like to know the sources. introducing the harrison hacienda
hey guys, jojo here. as you may have gathered through a few cryptic instagram posts, my husband and i are in the process of settling into/renovating our new spanish revival home in pasadena, ca. we are bummed to be leaving our awesome neighborhood in silver lake, but are super excited to get our hands dirty making the house our own. it literally hasn't been touched since 1935 so we're trying to honor the home's original details as much as possible, while still bringing it into the 21st century. not an easy task!
stay tuned for ongoing updates on the blog as well as instagram - i'll be sharing my design inspiration, mood boards and layouts along the way. its basically an outlet for my creative giddiness as we definitely don't have the budget to do everything at once. a practice in patience for sure, as i seriously can't wait to get rid of our vomit patterned (for reals) linoleum floor. but in the mean time here's my vision for the kitchen reno which will be our first major project. share your thoughts in the comments and wish us luck! love, jojo
